Picnic

Heide and Elsbeth hosted a morning picnic in their big green back yard. Here they are singing "Wheels on the Bus".

It was a great opportunity for Vince to learn to share, something he doesn't have to do much of at home. The other babies were just learning too...

and then Alan was ready for another ride.

then Elsbeth gave Vince a ride.

And mostly they were very sweet to each other sharing toys and food and sippy cups and mommies.

The Weekend

Friday: Vince and Grampa go to the grocery store in their jean jackets

then we dine with Elsa, Karen and Casey
and some after dinner dancing
Saturday: Daddy's 15 year high school reunion
Sunday: a visit from Marcello

Happy Mothers' Day part two in Lowell

Mom, Sarah, Vince and I celebrated Mothers' Day on Saturday seeing art in Lowell. This commemorates the women and girls that worked in the Lowell mills

when it was a booming mill town.

I love so many photos from this weekend. All weekend was so special.

We took Vince with us to see Dar Williams at the Narrows Art Center.This is about the only time Vince spent sitting down. Most of the concert he was running around and dancing. Dar pointed her finger right back at Vince's pointing finger in the ladies room.

Vince came waddling into the kitchen carrying a bag that he wanted to show me. On closer inspection he noticed the crawfish in the bag, so he dropped the bag and came running to me.
Then daddy showed him the crawfish in action and Vince was brave.

Off to the open artist studios in Somerville We wouldn't have asked him to pose with these freaky Care Bears... he just walked over and plopped himself down next to them on his own.
