TGIF
The man of the blog started the week with conjunctivitis in both eyes, followed by an ear infection, then a reaction to his medicine. We are on track to recovery. He's been a brave boy with the eyedrops, and the various medicines and trips to the doctor. Through it all he remained the Vincenator. Yesterday we enjoyed a sick day at home in the sun.
What is he looking at?
It's Golden Eye the giant lizard that lives by our pool.

Vincent's Lab: Experiment 1, day 36, Praying Mantids are born
36 days after the egg case arrived in the mail, they hatched. We're guessing 100 babies are jumping around in the cage.
That's powdered sugar all over his shirt, he claims he ate 11 mini doughnuts for breakfast. He had breakfast with dad, while I was at work.

Vincent's drawing of the babies.
Next part of the experiment, feeding them. They eat live bugs...

Vincent's Lab: Experiment 2-The human body
Vince picked this up at the bookstore and had me go through the book and body parts with him, then he asked if he could get it, of course.
It came with tweezers and forceps to take the body apart and match them on the "organ-izer"!
He was awesome.

Vince with the skull, his favorite piece - open it up to take out the brain!
And here's the heart, giving us a chance to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day. xo MMV
ps experiment 1 - the praying mantis, is still just an egg case. We are wondering if something went wrong, they should have hatched by now.
