Friday night: Cupertino Tree Lighting

so we missed the tree lighting, but we made it for the cookies and snow machine.

followed by a sleepover at our house

They did this for 3+ hours.  It was the best $2.75 in art supplies mom ever spent.

we went with Matt and Dean and some of their friends

we rode in an open car, by the beach

and through downtown Santa Cruz
all the people came out of their cottages to wave

Vince did most of the decorating this year.

Leon did hang some ornaments. 
But then pulled the whole tree down. 
Not sure from where he gets his sense of humor.
