Another day on the scooter

Here's another family having fun in the park. Make way for ducklings.
Butterflies all over.

3

Vince is 3 now. We spent his very sunny bday at the park, in the sandbox, with Maggie and Gabbie. And then the evening on his new scooter riding around our apartment grounds. The dozens of kids in our apartment complex were out playing with their scooters too, or skateboards or other games. And Vince tried to make friends with all of them. "What's your name?" "See my new Spiderman scooter?" "I'm really fast." "I'm getting a lot of practice." Some kids ignored him, "Mommy, why don't they understand me?", but he was persistant following them around and hanging out 'with' them. As you can see, he's the smartest, funniest, most fun kid.

"We're having a good time" Vince yells from the porch

Grampa and Vince fill the bird feeders.

The NH birds have kept us entertained this winter. We've seen big cardinals, blue jays, titmouses, gold finches, woodpeckers, nut hatchers, black capped chickadees and more! Living in NH this November and December Vince's job was to scare the squirrels away from the feeder.

SNOW!

That's right we aren't in CA anymore. On vacation. Vince wanted to get out in the snow "before it melts".
Gramma thinks she's playing catch... but Vince wants a snowball fight.

Here he comes with a snowball in hand...

Gramma doesn't know what's coming.

Sunday in the Park

Vincent said

"Mom, I found a bread crumb recipe for you. Let's make it."

At the library he calls me over to the computer, "I'm gonna show you how to download the books."

"What's your middle name Mommy?"
"Rose. What's yours?"
"Pasta"

In the car. "Mommy, I have something to tell you. I peed my pants. I wasn't paying attention."
Cursing inside my head, I said that's okay.
Minutes later we pulled in to the parking lot and he asked if he could ride the tractor at the grocery store. I said, no because you peed your pants.
He said, "I was just kidding. I'm funny." He didn't really pee his pants. He's inherited Mike's sense of humor.

Fun with Vince

Vince and Gabbie rockin the boat.

Dad gave Vince a video game.
