19 months

Nineteen months has been revolutionary. Vince is his own silly thinking man now.
Vince has words for almost everything. Last weekend we asked him what his name is and for days the answer was "Harry". Harry is his classmate. But now he says "Cincent". I've never felt so proud. Except for the time when he first said "ABC" looking at some letters. Or when he said "fish two" looking at the fish in the tank, or pointed out that the cartoon of Bobo crying is "sad" and he pet the page and said "nice nice". Above is Vince focused on his drawing. He declared this one an owl. And from then on when we take out paper to draw, he demands I draw him an owl. The first drawing he described was at Sarah's when he said house. He's also done some experimental drawing on our kitchen floor with a non-washable marker, oops.
A game of basketball with Daddy.
Occassionally Vince sneaks into mommy's Knaughty Knitters evenings.
Above at Water Fire.

And below - Vince has a mind of his own and I don't know where he get's some of his ideas. Just out of the bath, he gets his hands on some letters and sticks one to his belly, comes my way, lifts up my shirt and sticks a letter on my belly and then one on Daddy's.

Two mornings in a row Vince broke into tears when I tried to put his shoes on. I thought maybe he's just tired. But then he ran to the other room and got his "Bootys" and wanted to put them on. He was crying because he wanted to wear his boots - the big moon boots that light up when he walks. Below is Vince after a bath, all clean with his boots on. Below, Christina's birthday. He calls her "Nina".
Below, when I asked him to smile.

A lot of Vince's words have a "y" at the end. We did not teach him this, like cuppy and heady. He's at the great stage of needing a kiss when he "fall down" hits his "heady" or finds some other "boo boo".
A day in Lowell with Sarah, Gramma and Christina and Mommy.

Vince with the knomes. He wasn't sure what to think of them.

Sometimes he'll run up to you with open arms and ask for a "huggy".
Below Aunt Sarah gets a huggy.

Lowell - to visit the Quilt Museum for a poetry reading. Vince is sure to be a renaissance man.

"Teta" Vince spends a few days with Teta.

Every day after dinner he'll bring me the remote control and do a little dance with his arms for "Sesme sreet" or Elmo. His favorite song is Sunny Days.
