For us March Madness means Birthdays.
First Grampa's:
then Teta's:
then Aunt Ria's:
And of course Vincent's. He spent his birthday day with G&G because he was too sick for school. He has his own house in NH now:

Some things about Vince while he is still 1 year old

"funny faces" with Kai in FL

Lunch with Juel in NH
showing "baby emma" his seal that he named WhiteVince loves to play with his friends, he is not shy. He tells you about everything he can think of. On the plane he told a woman that he had a back pack like Diego and was going on two planes (I had to translate a little) and he always points out Mommy and Daddy. Today Aunt Ria was babysitting and she called to ask me what "wiper fox" meant because he kept saying it. It's Swiper Fox, a pesky character from Dora! Vince made up a game (I hope he thinks it's a game) where he says that Swiper Fox is here and he is trying to take things from Vince. Driving to school "Mommy, Swiper Fox taking my bubba" or "Swiper swipe my cherrios". Vince is obsessed with Dora and Diego. And his bubba (pacifier).

Vince has a bald spot from curling his hair, a habit when he is tired.

It is near to impossible to get him to sleep at night.

We play "farm" and "house" and "race track" with him a lot and with his "aMiNals"

He unzipps and takes off his coat and hangs it on the hook.

A ritual when I pick him up from school - he picks up a rock/pebble from the sidewalk and I roll down the window so he can throw it out.

He throws his food, toys, books on the floor. And I'm sorry Vince, but I have to tell, he's been going through a rather long phase of spitting his food on the floor.

He stamps his feet and bites down when he says he's not going to do something.

His progress report at school said he "likes to tidy up after activities" and "likes to get his own lunch out."

If you ask twice he is very happy to share.

He sings spontaneously - no more monkeys jumping on the bed, moon moon moon, row row row your boat, twinkle little star. He'll try to sing along to anything you want to sing.

Can count to ten.

Helps put laundry in the washing machine.

He asked Grampa to sing Ukulele Lady one evening.

He eats shrimp by the dozen (well he did one night).

He knows what a kiwi is, (bird of New Zeland).

He loves to spend time with his family in NH and FL and with mom's friends.

Every day is an adventure that usually requires more patience than we have, but we have a lot of fun and when we finally get to bed, we sleep well.
