How many legs does an insect have?

Skimming the grass with nets to catch bugs

Looking under rocks in the creek to find bugs (there's a rare shot of my belly)

Vincent's vial filled with rolly pollies and an EARWIG
In his shirt pocket are the 4 vials of bugs he caught, including a ladybug, plant bug, and a leaf hopper, we let them go at the end of the day

Finding bugs under logs and bark -taking a slug from Lynn.
Shaking a tree branch on a tarp to find bugs
And our great adventure ended with a rare treat - they said they don't usually show this to the visitors, but it was feeding time.... WARNING - a snake photo (I think it was Marilyn that requested snake warnings- better not to look Marilyn)

Before our bug hunt we saw a mouse living the life in his own tank with an excersice wheel, food and water bowl. Little did we know he was dinner for the Rose Boa!

The mouse is somewhere in there
